Two Ladies Were Talking In Heaven How They Went There

I came across this incredibly funny story and couldn’t stop laughing, so I just had to share it.

It’s one of those classic jokes that starts off sounding a little serious but quickly turns into something completely unexpected.

The story imagines what it might be like if two women met in heaven and started chatting about how they ended up there.

As their conversation unfolds, the twist at the end makes the whole situation hilariously ironic.

Here’s how the story goes.

Two women meet each other in heaven shortly after arriving. Like most people who find themselves in a new place, they start with a friendly introduction.

The first woman smiles and says, “Hi there! My name is Wanda.”

The second woman replies warmly, “Nice to meet you, Wanda. I’m Sylvia. So… how did you end up here?”

Wanda sighs slightly before answering. “Well, believe it or not, I actually froze to death.”

Sylvia looks shocked. “Oh wow… that sounds absolutely terrible!”

Wanda shrugs and explains, “Honestly, it wasn’t quite as horrible as it sounds. At first, I was shivering like crazy and it felt unbearable.

But after a while something strange happened. I stopped feeling the cold so intensely, and instead I began to feel warm and sleepy. Eventually I just drifted into a calm, peaceful sleep.”

Then Wanda asks, “But what about you? What happened that brought you here?”

Sylvia shakes her head and says, “My story is a little different. I died from a massive heart attack.”

Wanda looks surprised. “A heart attack? How did that happen?”

Sylvia begins explaining. “Well, I had this terrible suspicion that my husband was cheating on me. I kept feeling like something wasn’t right.

One day I decided to leave work early so I could go home and catch him in the act.”

She continues, “When I arrived at the house, I rushed inside expecting to see him with another woman. But instead, there he was… sitting calmly in the living room, watching TV all by himself.”

Wanda asks curiously, “So what did you do?”

Sylvia says, “I was convinced there had to be someone else in the house hiding somewhere. I started searching everywhere.

First I ran up to the attic and checked every corner. Then I rushed down to the basement to see if anyone was hiding there.”

“I opened every closet, looked behind curtains, checked the laundry room, and even crawled around to look under every single bed in the house. I searched everywhere I could possibly think of.”

She pauses before finishing the story. “By the time I was done, I was completely exhausted.

My heart was pounding so hard from all the running around and stress that I suddenly collapsed… and that’s when the heart attack happened.”

Wanda listens quietly and then shakes her head with a little smile.

“Well,” she says, “that’s really unfortunate…”

Sylvia nods sadly.

And then Wanda delivers the punchline:

“Because if you had just checked the freezer… we’d both still be alive!”

But wait — the laughs don’t stop there. Here’s a bonus joke that’s just as funny.

A bus carrying four nuns is driving down a steep mountain road when, unfortunately, the driver loses control and the bus goes over a cliff.

The nuns all pass away and soon find themselves standing at the gates of heaven.

Waiting for them there is Saint Peter, the traditional guardian of the pearly gates.

Saint Peter greets them kindly and says, “Welcome, sisters. Before you can enter heaven, I just need to ask each of you one simple question.”

The nuns line up in a neat row, patiently waiting their turn.

Saint Peter looks at the first nun and asks, “Sister, have you ever touched a man’s private parts?”

The nun blushes slightly and replies, “Well… there was one time when I may have lightly touched one… with the tip of my pinky finger.”

Saint Peter nods thoughtfully and says, “Very well. Please dip the tip of your pinky finger into the Holy Water and you may enter heaven.”

She does as instructed and walks happily through the gates.

Then Saint Peter turns to the second nun.

“Sister, have you ever touched a man’s private parts?”

The second nun hesitates before answering, “There was one moment when I held one briefly.”

Saint Peter says, “That’s alright. Just wash your hands in the Holy Water and you may enter.”

She quickly washes her hands and walks through the gates as well.

Suddenly, a bit of commotion breaks out behind them. One of the nuns starts pushing ahead in the line, trying to move in front of the others.

Saint Peter looks puzzled and asks, “Sister Susan, why the hurry? There’s no need to rush.”

Sister Susan nervously replies,

“Well… if I’m going to have to gargle that Holy Water, I’d really prefer to do it **before Sister Mary gets up there!”
